Hm. You're playing it a bit too stiffly, I'd say. It doesn't swing. :/ Try "pushing" the middle beat a bit towards the first and third beats (as appropriate), perhaps. And try imagining yourself dancing a waltz while playing it. :)

hmm its really interesting...my harp is 34..thats most common ..the very bottom note is C and the highest is A... than some maker do 36 i actually have one with 36 as well but find i dont really use the 2 extra notes at the bottom!! its just ive never seen a 37 string 1 before...thats really cool tho

As she is my first harp...and not having seen one before I got her, I can't comment. The range is G 3 octaves below and A 3 above middle C. I find she fits the range of all the music I have, and I don't think I've ever used anything below the first C...or indeed quite all the way up to the top. May I ask what yours is?
