Acoustically performed and recorded version of Celes' Theme using real acoustic orchestral instrument in addition with a few virtual instruments/sample library instruments. As close as possible to the original MIDI arrangement.

Eastman VL-80 Violin, No-name handmade Viola, Eastman VC-305 Cello, Other Worlds Celtic 22-String Harp, Yamaha YFL-225SAC Flute, performed by Eiko Ishiwata & recorded on Audio Technica P48 condenser mic. Performed, recorded, edited, mixed and mastered by Eiko Ishiwata.

very nice orchestration :) this was all done by playing the instruments? what program was used? i can play a lot of instruments, but i don't know if i can play THAT many... :o

@DestinyQx Thanks! I played and recorded most of the instruments. The only virtual library or computer samples I used were string sections in addition to recording the violin, viola, cello. I subtly layer a string section to my performance to add a fuller richer sound in order to create an orchestral sound. But besides the addition of a string section, it's all acoustic. I use Logic Pro as the multi-track/sequencer and use many audio plugins to edit, mix and master the pieces.

Fun fact, Locke was supposed to be the representative character from FFVI in the original Dissidia, but got swapped out for Terra due to her having more of a connection with Kefka and being more popular with the international audience.
