@westone4u Graeham Goble wrote a good portion of their songs, including this one. Glenn Shorrock and Beeb Birtles wrote the majority of the rest of LRB's songs.

Hey Morons, Glenn didn't write Lady. The guitar player with the beard and glasses did.

Farnham has an amazing voice - obviously. But, Shorrock had the "original investment" of writing songs like this, and (I'm biased) knew that it wasn't about the grandstanding. These (Reminiscing, Cool Change, etc.) are "understated" vocal songs - and I don't even think that Farnham enjoyed recreating them. Just my opinion. It's always tough to meet the original - let alone beat the original.

@FreeTheRocks ummmm before ya call names check your self,the first singer was Glenn Shorrock....he wrote this song he wrote all thier good songs,left in 1982 i think..............hope that helps you Tarzan!
