I called Ion today and the Booksavr is no longer in development. It would be awesome if manufacturing could be resumed on this project. I would buy one for sure!!!!
wow, you should really keep developing this thing man! Looks pretty labour intensive at this point, but if you could figure out some kind of method to avoid having to repeatedly push down buttons on both camera's (maybe if they were on timers or something) it would also progress it.
Pretty nifty! It might make it even better if you added an overhead pulley and counterweight, so it "wants" to get out of the way, but needs only a minimal downward force to get things in place.
