lol, in the other shows of the series it was a 300 seat studio audience, now its 100. I quite like the programme though.

@dan11009 Talk about grasping at straws. The British TV industry isn't that big. You could link pretty much anything to Ricky Gervais, it doesn't mean they definitely stole from him.
The chat show format long pre-dates the Ricky Gervais podcast (which isn't even a chat show) and there are far more differences between the two than similarities. This is just a more informal panel show (although it appears very scripted).

@MrVinushka you dont think that the producers seen the success of the ricky gervais podcasts, and hired Richard bacon a former dj from the same radio station as ricky gervais... to sit around and discuss pointless issues to try to appeal to that audience?, also I just found out that the production company for this was talkback thames, the same as the ali g show and the eleven oclock show, the show ricky gervais got his break on - so i reckon they stole his format, but whatever

Richard Bacon really is a real-life Alan Partridge, isn't he? That skit at the beginning was particularly painful.
