@literallarry2011 Way I know, many Metallica fans are not prone to look up stuff like this. I didn't know this until I was well into my fandom of megadeth.

@DethThrasher1 Look at his picking hand how it is bent.... very uncomfortable looking and he mutes with his right forearm very unorthodox... although he sounds magnificent ..look at some other guitarists in the same way and you will notice how they pick and mute with the same hand and their wrist is not cocked like his they look so much more comfortable.

Marty was initially declined the position by Mustaine.... because of Marty's multi colored hair. But after Marty got rid of the streaks, he got the job.
