George Bush standing in the background akwardly whilst Clinton gets a standing ovation like the useless human being he is...

@apocalipsis82 Most black funerals are a celebration of life.
-
@dab7271 I understand all of that, but this is not what that was. I watched the funeral when it originally aired. It took on too political a tone, where you had these politicians trying to one-up each other with one-liners. I was like a political rally instead of a funeral. It wasn't appropriate for the occasion.

@mgeek1 african american funerals have always had a more celebratory tone when the person has lived a long and full life. the idea is less to mourn the person's death and more to celebrate his/her life and all that he/she has done.
-
It was hardly a funeral at all. It was almost like an award show. I'm not sure I liked the tone of the whole ceremony. I'm glad President Clinton offered a little perspective after all of the rhetoric that was offered that day.

Bill Clinton sure can give a good speech one of the best or the greatest president of all time. People are just giving Obama a hard time let the men change the country!

w isn't squirming, ( i guess except for the light riff on him at the beginning).
at times in the speech i think he is feeling the speech a lot and showing a lot of emotion.

@whamfan87 helllzyaaa.. agreed & agreed.. like patton oswalt said..if clinton almost got impeached for a blowjob..then g.w...by leading us into a false war for oil..should be burned at the stake on the white house lawn while aerosmith plays a live concert.. clinton is sooo fkn smooth, thats why i was rooting for hillary to b prez..so he couldve been the "first gentleman"
-
@ministertwan u a mess. It was fanfare event.

I don't think Correta would have approved this type of fanfare...she was more classy...more humble...she fought for the least of these..the small people...this service turned into a show of "whose who"....such a disagrace...and the fact it was held at Eddie Long's church...even more shameful..knowing what we know now...
Bill Clinton did more for the African American Community than any other president.

Clinton is THE best speaker of all time. Sure I disagree with his personal choices, but he's the best president any of us will perhaps ever see. I'm prepared for your anti-Clinton remarks, but I've said my bit
