This is wonderful, and to think the last bastion of this sort of behaviour was destroyed a season ago when Hib's legendary East Stand was knocked down for a sterile cowshed. No wonder in this age when the name 'St James Park' is itself up for sale that many fans are deserting the game. This house of cards has got to fall. The decline and fall of the Romaonv empire...

i envy those people so much for having experienced such a wonderful era of football.
and i find it a bit ironic that most of the people, who nowadays try to take every piece of freedom from the ordinary football fan were teenagers back then and most certainly enjoyed all the freedom they now try to take from us.

Even in the early 80s the atmosphere was stunning. Now it's piss-poor and I won't spend 25 quid to be bored. I would encourage others to stop going and stop paying the wages of foreign prima-donnas.

Im not a Liverpool fan but that is fantatstic footage, the age when the game belonged to the ordinary fan.
How I wish I could go back to that era.
