A tribute to Japanese folk-rockers, Happy End. 'Natsu Nandesu' is a smooth, pocket-hugging, and stunningly produced track from their second record, Kazemachi Roman, released in 1971.

  • finally a video that pays tribute to this amazing gem of a song! discovered Happy End through the movie Lost in Translation, from their song "Kaze wo Atsumete," was an instant fan, and now have their albums on CD (someday vinyl, hopefully) Happii Endo forever

  • i heard this on domino radio online when yuck (check them out if you haven't!) bassist, mariko doi played this track. it instantly caught my ears and i got the album. its great stuff! my japanese friend tried translating the lyrics and found them to be very wordy and filled with descriptions haha
