Bead flow can be adjusted using the wing nut behind the beader. As for the dies, have you checked that the die runners tilt freely when hot? These are the best dies made and I would point out that the machine you reference to be receiving, uses a die copied from the die in this video. I have been working with these dies for over 15 years and can tell you that if they "never" work, they are either being used incorrectly, damaged, or have had parts installed incorrectly.
