IKE was a great president. Nixon was a good president. Bush Sr. was an average president. Reagan and Bush Jr. were shitty presidents, and Buchanon and Goldwater were bat shit crazy and unelectable.

For a man that was more of a Public Servant then politician. That didn't seem to even like politics that much. George Bush did whatever he had to do politically to win the 1988 Presidential Election.
