I want to buy this and on a scale of 1-5 1 being beginner or easy and 5 being expert what will this be?

The basic effect is a 1 or 2. If you want to do all the "bells and whistles" included in the additional routines, then it is about a 3 . It is very easy to learn and super easy to re-set for repeat performances. Sorry this reply took a while - somehow it disappeared in the spam box....

This was an old comment hence 5 months ago. I got this before Xmas & have been performin it in every gig/engagement beit stage or close up. I do have problems with knot as it dissolves prematurely sometimes, but i love my routine as i have personalised it, i.e I dont twirl the ropes around. I have made up my own & routine with white knot sliding off red rope then onto white to expand my presentation. As Eugene Burger would say "If you didn't invent the trick then personalise it to suit you"

It sounds as though you have done a great job. It is so important to personalize your magic - good for you! With regards to the knot dissolving too soon - here's a tip... when you tie to bow part tighten it really well by pulling hard on the loops and then you can adjust it as you put the ends through the loop. This way you should be able to make it as tight as you need it. Hope that helps. Have fun with it!

There was a choice of Acrobatic Knot or Fiber Optics and many said to go with Fiber Optics as there was more routines and different variations, however, I prefered the idea of a jumping knot as it is it looks more magical, plus there is no point buying magic DVD's or tricks if you are not going to use them. I made the right choice.

That's great to hear. Daryl uses this personally in almost every show he performs, close-up or on stage. The reaction he gets is amazing. Personally I have used it hundreds of times when table hopping - it is actually possible to re-set quickly and easily as you move from one table to the next and it is great to have something in a busy, noisy ballroom situation that can actually be seen across the huge dinner tables.
