Tavis Smiley, and those like him, are the scum of the earth. Blacks let these 'Black Leaders' keep them down.  In America today, EVERYONE has the ability to succeed. It simply isn't 'cool' to be black and get along in society. THINK CLEARLY!

@Swurgen Everything you said is true, however I'm speaking of the FACT that no matter how a "Black" person speaks, dress or behaves they will ALWAYS be considered as an "outsider" more so than ANY foreign "White". That is my point:)

@THEMONITOR72 When I dressed and had the attitude of a metal head in my youth, I knew full well that I would not be taken seriously in a professional situation. Once I needed to go down that road, I reformed myself accordingly. As for white Euro's assimilating, the problem is that too many blacks are concerned with the contrary. Distancing themselves from the prevailing culture of their current environment. I hate dressing up but sometimes situations dictate that I have to.

@Swurgen RUBBISH, they can "fit in" with the majority as no person of color truly can. Afterall, it's why "they" created White people to unite Europeans against people of color. My point is once a European assimilates ie: loses accent and "strange customs" then they are accepted. British accents are exempt from discrimination, BTW.

Counter productive attitudes are typified by Rock N Roll and Heavy Metal as well. In addition Whites teenagers are the biggest consumers of Hip-Hop. GDAY

wow i think there is hope!!!  in the 70s n 80s if any black man was decent or spoke truth and told it like it is all the black racists would call him white , uncle tom ,uncle ruckus etc etc .. but i dont see much of that here ..maybe blacks are finally fed up living in the blame game and are finaly going to be true like larry elder . the truth will set you free people !!!! i think we can finally move foreward..
