The Proposed Melbourne Hawks Theme Song (1996)

Cast your minds way back to 1996 when both Melbourne and Hawthorn supporters were sickened by the thought of this proposed merger. I managed to snag this little beauty off 774 ABC Melbourne via cassette. Sorry for the poor quality... enjoy!

@KangaKucha either have two levels, one national and the other of various state leagues, or a muti level set up of national leagues. I can do one or the other.

I have a better idea, make a whole new league of about ten teams from accross the country like the A league, the NBL, or like the CFL in Canada. Could have envolded from the state of orgin matches so it was possible. Then have the VFL and VFA merge or have a 2nd tier national league with the V leagues, SANFL, WFL, etc. THATS what should have happened, not the AFL which is really a joke of a Victorian league with a few out of state teams. Australia should have it's own league,not take Victoria's!
