@AdversusHaereses I agree that Prager is probably against the Enlightenment, although I'm not sure he mentions it specifically, here or elsewhere. But such an attitude fits with pretty much everything he says. A certain strand of conservatism hates the Enlightenment but they usually don't say it explicitly.

Dennis is absolutely right. The European "Enlightenment" brought pragmatism to US Universities, especially at Harvard. William James, John Dewey paved the way to a nihilistic intellectual elite that pretty much dominates every top university in the USA.
