Again, the DVD is readily available on Amazon and probably other online sites. Well worth it, I must say. As the author, I was very proud of this achievement. And I think it is as timely as ever, the story of the free people of color before the Civil War. Obama's candidacy has probably increased insterest in black history. Anne.

about the 'black experience' in america in the 18th century - Blackwomen had no protection from anyone or the law. they could be raped at anytime & she would have no way to get recourse from the attacker, to punish the man.
