...We rock our hair however we want...If we feel the need to wear it straight, kinky, curly, permed or natural(and fyi- we are actually wearing our hair chemically free currently). We will continue to rock our hair in the state in which we choose to rock it..Plain and simple.......There is too much going on in the world to be so caught up in someone else's hair! Live Life for yourself, no one else!

@popinjay3000-I have seen so many so-called "naturals" with blonde dreads, but no one wants to discuss that. Hello, BLONDE IS A "CHEMICAL" you nimrods! That's being hypocritical.

Where or who are your parents? Didn't they teach you to love your natural hair? This self-hatred blacks have for their hair has a historical background. All you weavies, permies, wiggies are a disgrace and need to work on yourself before you open your mouth with an opinion. How about doing some research. Your relaxers and weaves says it all. "I have been conditioned for 4 centuries to hate my natural hair" Please stop talking ...you sound ridiculous!

@hetheru-Just because you wear a weave, esp.if the weave reflects ur natural grade of hair does not define who u are internally! Ever think u may just want to give ur own hair a break! Let's be realistic, depending on your style,it can require a lot of work & maintenance &maybe u just don't hve the time nor the patience.Stop generalizing everyone's reason 4 why they wear their hair in the desired style they choose to wear it.

You also stated & I quote -" I have been conditioned for 4 centuries to hate my natural hair".Just because you've had issues w/ur hair, which is the case w/almost every1 who has lft negative comments on this vid,DO NOT try to assume we hve low self esteem. If we choose to rock our hair natural, permed and/or weaved, then we will do just that!We don't owe you or anyone else for that matter an explanation.

We again need to know our history. no new advancements in black hair since the jerry curl. Woopie G being a hair stylist should have told the story of that hot comb. it was made in the 1800's by Europeans bc THEY needed it. they had NO shampoo/conditioner, look at the pics.shaved there heads & wore wigs bc not only lice it was a rats nest due to harsh soap, or men braided the back of thier hair and dipped it in lard to keep it straight, women just wore a bonnet.Their r adv. in W hair not black.

Yes. I made no reference to either relaxed, weaved, or natural. You immediately jump on naturals like they are immune to this craziness.
what you will also see on YT is more naturals making and "OWNING" their SHIT from beginning to end while making a profit doing blogs.
China is building manufacturing to employ their own 2 sell hair to africans in africa... Is China capitalizing on colorism and post-slavery conceptions of "good hair"? if africans don't stand to benefit... whose fault is it?
