This video shows you how to fix a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector when a DS, DSi, or Wii cannot connect. It is usually caused by Windows Firewall in Windows XP and Vista. If you have another Version of Windows some things may vary like icons and text. Please make sure you unblock the Nintendo WiFi USB Connector, on my computer it was Local Area Connection 3 to find what yours is it will say Nintendo WiFi USB Connector.

You may get a message saying Your Computer is at Risk, Windows Firewall is turned off I reccomend ignoring this or getting a third-party firewall.

  • I have 1 big prob....when i plug the wifi usb...my PC couldn't recognize at all.....& no green light either...PLZ HELP!!!!

  • @pokediged sounds like a defective USB port or dongle let me know

  • @computerwhiz21 What do u mean....btw...I checked that when I plugged the usb to the school PC(with my permission few days ago),today it actually works...but when I plug it on my own CPU at home...still same..not recognized....*so weird & help*

  • @pokediged So it is most likely the USB port. If you stick a flashdrive does it recognize that? if no then your USB port is bad. if yes then your computer is conflicting with the nintendo connector,

  • so if i get a wii LAN adapter does that mean i get to play online on mario or something or do i just have internet because i really want to play online black ops but IDK if i need something else besides internet channel

  • @hunter53able yes its fine
