@HabeasMortis This is just training. Trust me, these work in a real fight, but you don't have to strictly follow the example. If you noticed his movement speed he could have easily finished the whole thing really quickly.

@Edehlol You ever seen an atacker with no training, trying to hit someone? it looks like a running windmill. They also very often try to push you in a random fight. I'm from karate myself and I agree that this is an important technique to learn - deflecting.
Guy's this is an Exercise to train reflexes etc. Training will eventually get more serious. All GOOD martial art's have some sort of training like this, where you train to use the movements you would use in combat, outside of combat. They are called drills. Boxers do stuff kind of like this, at least in principle, when they train. Eskrima does a LOT of this. But it does progress to more violent training.

it's a goo drill to get some notion of movement and space when again multiple attackers.
