Some classics riffs, showing some of the many tones you get with the AC15. NO PEDALS! Only a channel switcher (Boss LS-2) to go from the EF86 channel (ending with ZZTop's Tush) to the Top boost channel. Guitar is the Blade R4.
I had to use attenuation (Hotplate -12dB, treble and bass on) becaus emy digital camera doesn't record well loud sounds.

  • Hey! Great tone dude! I'm going to buy a Vox amp too, so I have a question for you:

is a vox ac15htvh + 2x12 cab loud enough for gigs? even if not microphoned?

    Thank you!

    A.

  • @Alciozzo : loud enough for sure, it's the loudest 15W amp I know!

  • I noticed you have 4 leads (or ore than one ) coming from the amp, is this on a switchable pedal on the floor ,so you change the diferent inputs?

I have just bought the head and cab and have not had a chance obang it ut at rehearsals yet , cant wait! even on the triode mode its to loud to bang out at home!

  • As mentionned in the informations, I'm using a Boss LS-2 that I use as a channel switcher.

  • what speakers are in the cab?

  • alnico blue

  • Great tone! What are your settings like? EF86 channel around 12:00 or 1:00? Bass shifts? Brilliance switch? Thanks in advance!

  • what is better? this or ac30hh? or ac30hh - the same but 2 more watts ?

  • @Kackfisch V30's have way to high power handling for an AC15. They will work, but bass will be tighter and no speaker break up - just tube overdrive.

  • which cabinet are you playing though? Is that a custom classic cab?

  • Real D. This is one of the greatest amps I have ever played. P-90's through it are awesome. Sounds killer.

  • The sound is too bassy for me.
