  • damn!!! if i ever get 50MB, it wont be for me but for my penis lol

  • @dannielpreto I know what your talking about, , but 128 kilbyes isn't one megabtye, theres 1024 kilobytes in 1 meg... so 1 mega BIT is actualy 120 -130 KiloBYTES per second. I know this confuse's ppl but MB and Mb are different... please learn the proper abreviation's for MegaByte (MBps) and Megabit (Mbps)...

p.s. this whole thing was about that in the first place. lol the fios thing isnt ocer cable, its over glass wire. because cable will not support 100 megaBYTES a second... go fig.

  • @Me102288 300 kilobits = 0.29296875 megabits wtf are you talking about? 128 KiloBYTES is one megabit, I would never confuse a bit and a byte. I never claimed cable will max out at 800 bits, that's preposterous. Cable right now with their Dosci 3.0 can reach around 160 megabits per second while Verizon has reached 1 gigabit per second on their current set up. Cable is about 20 megaBYTES and Verizon about 128 megaBYTES... Verizon's highest speed offered is 150 Megabit or 18.75 megaBYTES...

  • @dannielpreto coax max's out at 24 MEGS a second not 800 bits, 800 bits is less then 0.1 megabit... verizon is screwing with your mind. mbps = mega BITS per second ..... 1 mega BIT is 125 k a second, your being ripped off, I pay $30 for 1.048 MILLION mbps if you want to use your calculations

p.s 300 kbps IS 1.5mbps dont let them fool ya

  • @dannielpreto coax max's out at 24 MEGS a second not 800 bits, 800 bits is less then 0.1 megabit... verizon is screwing with your mind. mbps = mega BITS per second ..... 1 mega BIT is 125 k a second, your being ripped off, I pay $30 for 1.048 MILLION mbps if you want to use your calculations

  • I think your all confused, MBps = Megabytes per sec, mbps = megabits per sec.

so you basically paying 8x the money so you don't have to wait 15 more soconds.. LOL and games arent based on speed, theyre based on your ping and distance between servers.... duh
