My last poncho will be pink. and for a drawing. Fear Thou Not, P.O. Box 1268, Hiram, GA 30141
http://thecompassionfashionproject.blogspot.com/2011/02/this-weeks-challenge-... is one article about this "pay it forward" ministry to help people. Ask your local ER or EMT is they could use a poncho. It can help keep the core warm.
One yard of fabric makes a poncho. It takes 20 minutes to make a fleece poncho and 30 to make velveteen. A poncho can be worn to the opera or to a game or to get cancer treatment. charlottefairchild@gmail.com

  • @cinemajeet7 compilation? Men do wear them. They wear them when they watch tv or when they are in the hospital to hide their back sides with those hospital gowns. :)

  • Wow...Nice Complication... I really like one..

  • @no4urslf Thanks. It is a relief to know that I am not the only one making a useful garment to help others.

  • @tfmminnesota 1 yard for a small or medium sized person, and one inch length for each larger size (large would be 1 yard one inch, XL would be 2 inches, etc.) The width can be 45 (cut in half at the fold to 22 1/2 inches) or if the width is 60 inches, you can add for the larger sizes. A remnant at many cloth stores is a yard. This is a great way to save money on a useful garment.

  • Wonderful!! I will pass this video to the sewing half of my life. She will love the challenge!

  • Well, I watched it - good job explaining it - can you tell me how long and wide the fabric should be?? Thanks
