The Apple iPhone 4 and the HTC ThunderBolt are two of the best phones for the Verizon Wireless network. Different in many ways, they are two approaches to getting yourself a pocketful of power. And yes... you can make phone calls with them. How do these two excellent phones compare in a Wirefly Schmackdown?

  • ...syncing and how convenient it is thru itunes. Oh yeah, you can't discuss that because that would make you fair and balanced in your review. So much for reading wirefly. Even if you would have chosen the tbolt, that's fine because I love mine, but to be so blatantly fanboyish towards the tbolt is downright disgusting.

  • @wademvp91 Thanks for the critique. I really do read and listen to these, and they have made me a better reviewer. Thanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts.

  • I have a TBolt N its WAY Faster then iphone in every possible way, N I Love It but Honestly Im SICK of all the Forced Closes and having to pull the battery out for a "Hard Reset" Or the dam thing jst shuts itself off N reboots WHENEVER....So kinda entertaining the thaught of switchn jst for that fact. Maybe it weighs itself out. Bob please lemme know what u think!!! Thank U in advance

  • @Train4Life78 I've used lots of different Android phones and really haven't had any serious problems. I generally don't download a lot of apps or modify the phones, except to do an official software/firmware update. Those always make the phone better.

So the ThunderBolt has always worked well for me, but I mostly do just the basics. FWIW, I haven't used the ThunderBolt in 6 months.)

  • Can you do a Thunderbold vs Rezound?

  • @livislife21 The HTC ThunderBolt is a little old now, and the Rezound is easily more powerful. I don't think there are many people who want to see that comparison.

  • Wow, could you advertise the Thunderbolt more. I have both and while I enjoy the LTE of my thunderbolt, my iPhone gets all of my use practically . The iPhone is butter smooth, and has no force closes. Also, I love how you only point out cons of the iPhone and pros for the tbolt. "Screen is good, but if someone 10 feet away wants to.look at my phone , then they can't see it from the side" and "it has a kickstand" big whoop. why don't you discuss build quality, fragmentation of the OS , media...

  • Yeagh the thunderbolt is beast and is better the. The evo! The evo has a little longer battery life but the thunderbolt is like, exactly the same since they are both htc phones.

  • I have both phones and a razor and bionic and I am a leader not a follower the android phones are better period.

  • If you notice the thunderbolt has the wifi sign on the screen and the iphone doesnt so idont think this should count

  • @WiserasIgrow No shit the battery life is better its SMALLER N SLOWER= GOOD BATTERY LIFE....But yes u are rite when u talk bout crashes n such........!! Apple ftw in that aspect...

  • bob what about the off axis view? why cant we have our privacy without having someone look at it as a bad thing personally i hate showing my phone off.

  • @Train4Life78 Um no, An iPhone will always shit on any android, androids always have a knack of rebooting or freezing of force closing last time i checked Iphone 4 has better battery life, and it never crashes or reboots...

  • @TheAceMachina mine was free
