@citi0rhythm Pretty much. 6th gear can't be used as a racing application, and the ACR's massive downforce the wing produces counteracts the 5th gear. However, the 2010 has a shorter 5th gear that can be used on the ACR.

@datgoodgood22 probably true.. but in this case they're concerned about setting the fastest lap time by any means possible, not preserving the transmission lol.

why does the shift nob shak so much?

@FullMetalOne It may gives a better result in some corners, probably. IMHO the viper ACR has max torque during the mid-ranged rev.

@datgoodgood22 The rev limiter is there to prevent someone from over reving, and hurting the motor jackass.

@d4nr055 this driver, tom coronel is an expert driver, so if he shift up just before the corners, he would lose allot of time, because he needs to downshift again in the corners. this guy know's what he's doing. -V-
