Model Titanic Sinks (w/ underwater footage)

We dragged out the GoPro Hero HD on a bitterly cold morning for some submerged filming of the bigger of our two Titanic models.

Custom-modified 1:350 scale Academy-Minicraft Titanic. Ballasted and subdivided into semi-watertight compartments for sinking effect. This video is a composite of 5+ sinkings over the course of an hour. Real-world sinking time is approximately 3 minutes.

Easily, one of the best replica sinkings being shown. I would love to see her hang on the surface for a few seconds, then continue, but the underwater sequences are prime. Well done.

If you look very closely when the ship starts to sink, you can see the Italian captain escaping on the first lifeboat.

@Rapidnadion Yeah I'd like to, I still k now where it went down roughly...cold water though, gotta find a scuba guy that would do it! or a UUV!
