Metalheads are provoking the situation a hell of a lot, we all crave an argument, we're mostly seen as violent people. Hating the music industry repeatedly won't have any affect, instead just embrace the fact that the music industry exists, is potentially corrupt and then ignore it. It's existence really isn't doing any worse off for the music you like, if anything it's keeping the honest bands honest and exposing the trash. Simple as that.
