Arlington County Gang Members Ignore Own Oath

On Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 while walking to the store I spotted a Arlington County Police Department (ACDP) squad car parked in a "No Parking" zone. I approached three people dressed in ACPD uniforms standing nearby and engaged them in conversation.

@1vaguy The way man-made legislation is written emergency vehicles responding to emergency situations can essentially ignore traffic statutes. The cops in this vid were not responding to an emergency. An ambulance responding to a potentially fatal incident would be.

That said, I'd much prefer these services and the road itself by provided not at the barrel of a gun. Then the property owner could stipulate the behavior - including parking - that could occur. Google "voluntaryism" for more.

@HeLlOWKiTtY121799 Where do you personally draw the line? When you see someone with a badge get a meal for free? How about when they beat someone up? Or rape someone in their custody? Or shoot someone who's handcuffed on the ground? Because all those things happen now. That's why I seek to hold them accountable for every iteration in which they exhibit a double-standard. If we don't do so for the most-trivial things (like parking) where does it stop?

Are you like some of these nut jobs who claim it's "socialism" to have fireman and policeman? So it's just so much better to let your house or a building burn down? @strykeraj If there is a demand for a good or service someone will have an incentive to provide it. Why grant a group a monopoly on providing anything? That only leads to terrible quality, poor service and high prices.

What a loser, did you bother seeing why they were there in the first place? Police/Fire/EMS and other emergency services are exempt from minor parking and traffic laws so they can better do their job. Guess next time someone calls the cops they should make sure they only call IMF there is an open parking spot,, or a douche like u will give them a hard time.

@DominicanOps What the hell is this grateful crap? If I drive a taxi and deliver a person where the want to go, they do NOT have to be grateful! just pay me! This is my job! I have family in law enforcement. They say the job usually is boring. Being a cop is a matter of choice. They are paid for by taxpayers money. It is a JOB. If I install stop signs on streets, don't be grateful!! Just STOP at the damn thing. When you see it, I already got paid for it being there.

(cop car parked in restricted area) Anyone smart enough to write should be smart enough to see a bigger picture. The police state takeover is like a cancer. Sometimes it is subtle, and causes little attention. Other times it is on a rampage, leaving nothing in it's wake. A cop car illegally parked; a man beaten, in a coma, and dying by LEO(s) hands. What's the big deal?
