you have to be pretty ungrateful if your dogging this game saying it won't be better than 1.6. then go play 1.6 if nothing beats it. im personally looking forward to this game and the new things they are doing to it.

Most games you can be better with low graphics. With high graphics u just can't see anything because of the vegetation motion blur and dof.

Its a nice attempt to improve on THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME
But I don't think it can achieve the same cult status as the original CS 1.6
Lets see if it can live up to the CS legacy

the thing is some people just love this game, we feel it doesnt need any change apart from the visual side getting freshened up every 4 years or so because as graphics get better we want in on that too.
its not a game to us its a sport and in our minds it is perfect..
your point does make sense in a gaming world, yes, but to us its like saying you wouldnt buy a new nike soccer ball because its still round and you wouldnt play soccer because the pitch is still square.
