I still think Torsteins run was at least as good as Rice.

they both had bangers but even though Travis reverted (which would have made Torstein win with judges) torstein didn't have much of a chance, people see two flips vs. spinning they will vote for the guy going upside down (maybe being a american helped t rice out) and i bet a LOT of people voting don't even know what switch is.

you guys saying t rice won because his trick was "flashier", well...duh! torstein threw down a sick trick and he threw it clean, but a double rodeo looks way better than backside 12. torsteins trick was undoubtedly more difficult, but rices trick looked way more stylish

@990Davis099 I disagree I know because I snowboard-look at my videos-that spinning is personal preference...the easiest direction to spin for me is switch bs. spinning bs/sw bs off your heels and fs/cab off your toes is much harder than bs/sw bs off toes and fs/cab off heels. Plus doubles are much riskier than just spinning (not to discredit a sw bs 12). However, I agree that torstein was cleaner and people don't know what to look for.

Torstein's trick (a switch backside 1260) is actually more difficult than Travis Rice's double rodeo 1080, cause spining backside coming off switch is the most difficult way to spin, and plus torsteins was way cleaner. Travis won because he had the flashiest trick, and most people voting dont know much about snowboarding.

Phone voting turns things into a popularity contest. e.g. If Shaun White competed in big air, he could throw a 1080 and probably get all the votes. I'm in favor of judging.
