Even with the worst of racism, beatings, and mistreatment.. most black was on they best behavior. LIke thikn about it - now that we actually do have a slim chance and becoming more as a people with the strides made in social intergrating and OBVIOUS achievements of BROWN PEOPLE -many blacks and latinos are subject to after effects of poverty.

And when you try to identify with where u come from - u get met with resistance or ridicule from your own peeps.

yo basically... the feelings we are having are direct results of the paths me blacks have had in not only america - bout our travels thru the world.
in 2009, we are still victim of the sepratist behavior that continues to fuck us up. In the hodds, everybody is an eney except for the old folks. nobody help each other (like we should, like OTHER races) we ALWAYS wastin money on dumb, superficial shit. We fight. We yell. We treat our bodies bad.

Yo - its even more crazy cuz u have a extreme beauty. I can say that straight forward, cuz i know exactly what it feels like. People CONSTANTLY in your face, head turning twice and shit =) I know.. and its like this OXYMORON that the people see this trait in you (which u should nevr boast about bc u had no choice in what you came out the womb with) but its hard to see it in yourself, sometimes. Because we come from such problems in our homes or families or schools...
