Justice League #1 Review

First of the new 52. Every book we've read over the past 2 or 3 months lost part of there spark because of this announcement. Secret Six is dead because of this. Was it worth it?

It's true. Not much happened. I thought that Green Lantern was more of a dick than Batman.

@therealmanos Yeah he kind of was. But at least for me, they both came off as dicks. I'll still buy the book but i might drop it after the first arc is over.

@deathgodstorm i think your being to overly critical about this book. The whole world being dark and hating superheroes seems alot more real and realist. i do though agree with you that batman and green lantern were portrayed as dickheads. And also how can you think supermans costume looks off. I think his new costume was amazing, its more detailed and cooler than his old one. My advise to you is just to be pacient with this, it wll get better.

I found the scene with Batman taking Hal's ring really stupid. Because basically the most powerful weapon in the universe can be taken away from it's wearer because he or she didn't concentrate. You would think the Guardians would put a fail safe so that nobody takes the ring away from their members. It's just stupid and ads more to you saying Batman is like his All-Star counterpart.

Green Lantern can make literally anything, as long as he concentrates and has enough will power. So I guess he technically could make water lol.

But yeah, I totally agree with it murdering the fun of the other books. I had JUST gotten into Secret Six, and it quickly because my one favorites. Only to get cancelled like two months later for the New 52.

I agreed with you 100% I did not enjoy this issue at all, the only thing good about it is basicly the aartwork.

i do agree that green lantern may come off as a dick, but that might just be johns trying to write a younger hot shot green lantern, good review though
