You can use this mpc ... With out the program .. But notice how it doesnt have the 8 outs ... So obviously u would have to export ur song through the software .. And they elimated sd cards and dvd ... The best part is that u can use a vst with ur song !! But lets see if this is gonna be groundbreaking ! Or another flop !!!

is it possible to use it outside of a computer?

a lot of guys that have mpcs do so because they dont want to deal with computers/..like they want to be away from a computer while making music;..so if cant do that then whats the point of having this?

The price may be the killer for this though, but the Slimline is supposed to be more comparable to Maschine in size & price (I think). We shall see...... The saga continues!......... (then I laugh with my Ming laugh like at the end of the Flash Gordon movie, lol)
