@hershegurl05 I apologize if someone has already responded to your post or if you found the right info on your on. But if not, hair does not go into "shock" it's not a heart and it's dead anyway. Maybe your hair dresser will, LOL! I have heard of some people having problems with "scab" hair and it being a result of growing out hair damaged from over processing it or it's the hair that is between natural and relaxed hair. It goes away with some TLC. Hope this helps.

@xxmuzicchickxx i mean my hair is waist length when stretched out completely...not when its curly. =]
What kind of bands are those? Where were they purchased? Thanks!

@CelineCarey Just stretchy headbands. I got them from a random beauty supply store. I use Goody bands now. purchased from Walmart.

Have you ever tried to twist or braid you hair and then band? Just wondering if I could try banding with a twist out, or if it would jack up the twist pattern. What do you think?

@GrowingThere No I haven't tried that since I don't need to twist my hair for the desired definition. It probably would work though because the bands don't alter my pattern. It's like it holds the pattern into place while strething.

I love the banding technique results and it looks so easy to do! Did you use Miss Jessies butter creme and the merangue or just the merangue? Love your vids!!

@vida130 I used the buttercreme as well. I applied that right after the leave in.
