  • I think there're lots of places the parallels between the civil rights movement and yours break down. I wasn't there, it was mostly before I was born, and I'm white. But I can say most of us are in nowhere the position of Southern black people or black people, in general, in those days, boy. You do know the federal response was sometimes negative and not always great. But the movement wouldn't have gotten near as far as it did without the U.S. government.

Mr. SS has spent a good amount of time commenting about how you are engaging him in discussion on a forum where he is allegedly outnumbered (as if that has anything to do with the subject of discussion) and then makes unsubstantiated claims that you are doing exactly what he is doing, as if that actually addresses the inherent wrongness of what he is doing.

  • @libertyfizz

Perhaps, but there is something to be said about the quality of the disagreement. If someone wants to argue with me that pot supports terrorism (for example), I expect a rigorous discussion about the actual cases where money from marijuana dealing ended up funding some sort of terrorist attack, not an endless barrage of juvenile jokes that fail to even achieve unintentional slapstick value.

  • @hellsunicorn Actually he was very useful in bringing out one of my arguments that I usually use with Christian moralist who are against marijuana. Later on FTL I heard Ian use the part of the same argument. Ian being an atheist may have not thought of the two Gods argument. I had never heard him use it before I had posted it in one of my exchanges with SSguy. Or possibly it refreshed his memory about the argument. You can't have a debate if everyone agrees.

  • @libertyfizz

I wouldn't waste your time with this guy libertyfizz, he has been engaged multiple times on issues like these and he always talks out of both sides of his ass. He'll say he doesn't support police brutality or current drug laws, yet laugh and make jokes whenever anyone he deems a free-stater does something about these problems. He's a rank and file troll who thinks he's God's gift to this earth. He's essentially a white, unsuccessful Kanye West.

  • @libertyfizz I think at this point, no one is really reading any of this brilliant convo - so I am unclear what point you are trying to make with me. If you are trying to convey the idea that you think I suck.....I got it......and I am sure likewise. So yeah.....you like CD and yelling at cops.....yay good for you....while I think it is counterproductive...yay good for me. So far, I fail to see all these positive results from yelling at cops as well as fellow citizens liars over a bullhorn.

  • @SSILENTNATION Most freestaters don't need any help true enough. I bring another perspective and my arguments posted here have been used by others.

More sad than funny that you think without CD or protests marijuana laws could ever be changed by simply working within the system. I directly quoted you and space is limited but you have supported the enforcement of bad laws and asserted that if you want the law changed you have to work in the system blah blah blah.

  • @libertyfizz ORLY....you think people actually need your help deciphering comments on these relatively low hit videos that primarily freestaters watch? Now that is funny. What is even more funny is you think you are combating false assertions, yet seem to be pretty good at throwing your own regarding what you imagine I say, what I think, what I do etc etc.

  • @SSILENTNATION I don't do any of this for your benefit. I write for the benefit of other readers. Because not correcting your false assertions would be a disservice to people who need the information to combat your form of ignorance.
