The Soundgear is a modern bass for players who want a thin, fast neck, and the ability to dial in any tone for any genre-from complex electric jazz to raging metal.

The 2009 Soundgear has continued this tradition while adding a modern flavor.

  • Slappin sr300

  • Check out my video ! Slappin' da SR300 !

  • @TheGinBass i mean man it depends on what you wanna sound like when you play, and also how you like the sound of them

  • @LightenUpMcGraw the l is for left handed and the m is for maple top

  • @LightenUpMcGraw SR300 has rosewood fingerboard, SR300M has maple fingerboard were M stand for maple and SR300L is a left handed guitar.

  • @InlayUK kewl tysm ! :)

  • @TheGinBass Difficult to answer. I have them both, SR 305 and the Vintage Modified, but they are very different. But if I had to choose I would probably take the Squier Jazz bass because i like the sound better. But the Ibanez is smaller, lighter and easy to handle. But with either one you can't go wrong.

  • @LightenUpMcGraw SR300M is the same, but with a maple fretboard instead of rosewood, SR300L is the left-handed version.

  • I'm interested in the SR300 but can't seem to gleen the difference between the SR300, SR300M and SR300L. Even the Ibanez web site which has them all listed doesn't list any differences between them on their spec page. There must be something that differentiates them all or they wouldn't have a different model number. Anyone know why there is an M and L tagged on some 300 models?

  • Hey, what would be the best choice as a beginner bass? Ibby sr300 or Squier VM jazz bass?

  • I just got a brand new one of these but it's a 5 string and it's black. Plays great :)

  • this is the only video i can find were the bas has a decent sound every other video i have seen sounds like crap with the sr300, almost like they dont know how to use the 3 band EQ....

  • @chubba1000 yeah

  • is active?

  • Doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the yamaha rbx375 imo...

  • im getting it this week, is it that good, i mean if i joined a band does it worth it?

  • I usually hate white on a guitar, but this looks really good

  • Just got mine, I love it:)

  • i got the fretless version its so LOW AND EPIC i love it
