@2plus2is9 no they dont have any special protection, the experience is unique!!!

Are these paintings covered with a protective glass? I know often people choose not to put protective glass when they frame their oil paintings...but these are masterpieces. I'd be very surprised if they were bare.
I wonder what else they use to preserve these pictures...maybe some sort of special varnish? I dont know.
