Wow this sport should be about having fun!

"We do this for the kids" o.k. well the kids want to win!
I did not know that a 6.7 7.1 6.9 6.8 6.8 are considered good scores. My bad.I'm not even going to mention the 4's that Brittany got. The only competition they had at Pan Am were Canada and they went first and second.
My frustration is not personal, look at the athletes the scores do not lie.

1st.. synchro isn't an Olympic sport. 2nd, it is difficult to stay in sync. Form will be sacrificed to stay in sync. So to criticize their piking down, is not cool. They did what they needed to do, to stay in sync! Bravo!!!! I too would love to see USA have 2 males and 2 females in the next Olympics. But I am a fan of the kids themselves as well as the sport. I applaud their accomplishments.. even if it falls short of my desires. I can assure you, they want it more than me!!!!
If anybody was wondering about my credentials, I have been in the sport 16 years, and judged the National Championships 6 times. I was invited to take the FIG in 2003 and decided not to take the course and I coach next to a world champion.

"I have been in the sport 16 years,"
and yet, you aren't at the OTC and you never made it to the Olympics. Perhaps your frustration in the USA Trampoline program comes from a bit deeper than you would like to recognize. As a coach, it is your responsibility to encourage and support the athletes, not tear them down. As a judge, you should be un-emotional in your evaluation of a routine. Remember, we do this for kids!

First, I know sync is not in the Olympics. Their sync looks just as good as their individuals. Second, form should never be sacrificed if its done right. Any coach, Judge, Athlete should know that. And third, I'm not hating on the athletes. I know they work hard. The athlete is only as good as the coach. If its taught right, it will be preformed correctly. Apparently the coach cares more about learning skills than form.

Most people haven't got a clue what these kids have sacrificed. They train endless hours and still have to work to pay their entry fees and travel expenses for competitions. I am sure it seems rather Thankless when they read your comment. And their coach is Dmitri... no one cares more about form than him. Most of these kids watch their videos on youtube. So any negative comments you make, go straight to them.
