The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall - Shedungent

Recieved a quest from Queen Aubk-i of Daggerfall to go investigate her husband's grandmother sanity, Nulfaga located in Shedungent.

The cloth banner near the start surprised me when it actually did something, though I didn't go much further with it. This is one of the many things I love about Daggerfall, is finding these hidden little things. Didn't get to explore the whole dungeon, but I did find a lot more dwarven items than usual which I'll pawn off for some spare change.

I DL'd this today... I got out of the initial tomb then went to daggerfall.. then I wanted to follow up on main quest but didnt know where to go. I tried the palace but the queen said I was a noob and the king just told me to fetch his hankerchief. So I went and killed villagers and got HALTED to death.

Keep exploring and leveling up. Eventually you'll be given a letter (It varies how you get it) and everything will lead on from there.

To those complaining about the dungeons. Well, once you hate a dungeon because you can't swim, you get a spell that allows you to walk on water. poor climber? Get a levitation spell! The basic spells like swimming, running faster, recall, etc are all quite cheap! Also, you need a different mindset, unless your doing one of the main quests, don't worry if you can't do a quest, it's not the end of the world like in modern games!

Dungeons became a lot more fun once I got the Water Breathing / Levitation spells. Don't think I had a Recall spell though, which would have been useful at times.

great game = balance between difficulty, immersion, and graphics. Not like the extremely dumbed down games these days.

This game is badass! I got lost in a giants castle full of orcs and....giants! I was newb and had to develop fighting skills and use my wits to escape. I saved a princess too! oh thats why i ws there. i got lost for weeks an lost purpose.

@Quakistaw i randomly went to queen and she told me to come in that castle(i was only lvl 3, however i had daedric long sword that i stole from a tavern), and i went there killed everyone and everything till the main room where were liches. I ALWAYS kept dying there, and I am now stuck in the fucking dungeon because it's like a maze can't find exit :(((.....

When you click on the hanging tapestry outside Nulfga's door, type "shut up". It saves you a lot hassle!
