I love how Ford is bringing back all these old school Mustangs like the 5.0 and Boss. Chevy and Dodge definitely have some catching up to do now!

@puzeym well about that just cause the fox was the first to wear the 5.0 badge doesn't mean it owes all it's heritage to it their both two completely different cars dont even look alike their both the only thing they got in common is the 5.0 badge and the 302 cuibs!!!!!

@429mas The Coyote IS a big improvement, in fact it is probably the most awesome highest tech V8 anywhere right now. I never said it wasn't. It just owes its heritage to the fox 5.0. For the record, I have one of each, and a Terminator for good measure.

@429mas In spite of the illustrious history of the windsor series of engines dating back to 1962, the Foxes are the ONLY other Mustangs to have worn a 5.0 badge, they ushered in the fuel injection era, they single handedly revived the American Muscle era, and they continue to rule the dragstrip today. The Coyote 5.0 owes everything to the Fox 5.0, and I think the Foxes deserved a more prominent spot in a drag racing oriented commercial like this.

@puzeym it did feature one fox but remember the 5.0 has been around way before the fox 5.0 such as the classic boss 302 from the late 60s and 70 foxes began in 79-93 the reason why foxes are the most common 5.0s to drag race cause their inexpensive and cheaper to modify!!!!!!

I still don't understand why Ford didn't feature 5.0 Fox Mustangs in the historical part of this commercial because when it comes to drag racing Mustangs the new 5.0 owes most of its heritage to the Foxes.
