Wii Whiteboard test

This is my first test with the Wiimote IR pen whiteboard.
The credits goes to Johnny Lee (www.johnnylee.net) who is running this project.

I made this simple IR pen with just a few parts: IR Led (from remote control), Switch button (from an old mouse), some wires and a battery.

Its not very accurate, still need to test and calibrate it, but it works :)

hey can i program it to only move the mouse then i would keep it on all the time and select the mouse click with glovepie

You can use windows xp :)

Its just the wii controller that "see" the IR led moving, so he interacts with it.

you should touch the screen, as it may be more acurate since the distane you are floating may affect where the camera caputres the point

you should attack the mote better, so that if you touch teh chair, you wont have to recalibrate

I don't understand how some people are getting the calibration so quickly. I still can't get mine to calibrate with my pen.
