  • The first time I met Michael & Kathie in the '70s they were in the bottom half of a house in Huntington doing video art projects. I was just a kid and they lent me a Port-o-Pack video recorder. IMAC then moved to a location in Bayville and added dance to their art and video performances.

Their move back to Huntington went on to inspire other towns to recapture neglected theaters through out Long Island and changed Huntington for the better. Truly missed, thanks for posting!

  • @Jaalto I really appreciate your message. I still think of Michael and am sad that the world is without him. I met him when I was a Junior in college and he was a great supporter. I miss him and can tell you do too!

  • We hope so too!

  • The closing of IMAC is very sad. It was such an institution. Your remarks were very poignant and you looked lovely.

I sincerely hope that a new cultural arts center will be built.
