Part 1 - Two Days To Go.
Demi POV

I Climbed Out Of My Bed, Rubbing My Eyes With My left Hand, While Slipping My Feet Into My Slippers.
I Walked Over To My Calendar, Lifting the Pen of the Bedside Table and Crossed out Yesterday's Date. I Sighed Once The Bright Red Heart Around February 14th Caught My Eye. I'd drawn It on There Back When I Believed I Actually Had a Chance with Joe. But All That Crumbled When He Decided To Date Camilla, The Worst Part About It, Was That As Hard As I Tried To Find Any Flaw In Her, There Wasnt Any. The Truth Was, She Was Everything Im Not, Which Is Exactly What Joe Wants.
I Used To Love The Idea Of Valentine's Day Back When I Was Younger, I Liked The Thought Of Everyone Celebrating Their Love For One Another, But That Was Before I Realised The Cold Hard Truth, That Love Never Ran The Way You Wanted. For Me Valentine's Day is Just Something That Reminds Me of How Lonely I Am. I Dont Understand Why Your Heart Doesn't Fall for The Guy That'll Catch it, Before It Shatters, It Always Has To Fall For The One Who Will Take it, And Rip It From Your Chest Till Your Empty Inside, The One That'll Surely Hurt You.
But Then Again, It Wouldnt Be Love If It Was All So Easy.

I Had Just Two Days Before Joe Breaks Another Little Piece Of Me Heart, By Asking Camilla To Be His Valentine. I Sighed Again And Changed Into Sweats And A Hoodie, Before Walking Out Into The Morning Air.
I Needed to Clear My Head from Joe Related Thoughts, Ive Been Working on Telling Myself That Im Over Him, But It Never Works.
"Joey Baby, What Have You Got Me?" I Heard Her Giggle From Across The Pavement. I Looked Over To See Joe And Camilla Walking Across The Road.
I lifted My Hood over My Head and Continued Walking to Avoid Having to See How Happy They Are Together.
"I Told You, Its A Surprise" I Heard His Heavenly Chuckle. "Awh, Plea- Wait Is That Demi?" I Heard Her Say To Joe As I Cursed Under My Breath And Quicken My Pace. "It Is" He Said To Camilla Before Shouting Across The Road To me "Hey Demi" I Groaned And Reluctantly Spun Round To face Them And Pushed My Hood Back Off My Head. I Forced One Of My Smiles And Pretended To Be Happy For Them "Hey You Guys" I Smiled As The Came Over To Me. Joe Let Go Of Camilla's Hand For A Second To Bend Down And Hug Me, Before Returning Back To Camilla. "Shouldn't You Be Getting Ready For Kevin's Big Valentines Surprise?" I Asked Them, You See Kevin Is Holding a Huge Party at His House for Valentines Day, He Did Invite Me, But I Didnt Want to Turn up Single to It.
"Were Just Heading Back Now" Joe Smiled "So Who's The Lucky Guy who's accompanying You To The Party Then Demi?" Camilla Nudged Me. I Cleared My Throat As Soon As The Awkward Silence Set In "Um, Im not Going, I Dont Have A Date" I Looked Down At The Pavement While Tapping Some Stones Across It With My Foot. "Oh" She Whispered "It's Fine, Im Happy Being Single" I Smiled Another Fake Smile Towards Her "I Enjoy My Freedom."

I Slipped Into A Tight Fitted Dress; It Was A Plain White Colour That Joe Had Given Me For My Birthday Last Year. I Never Let Him See Me In It As Much As He Had Asked Me To.
I Decided That I Might As well Get Up And Do Something, Rather Than Sitting here Feeling Sorry For Myself Just Because Im Single two Days Before Valentines.

I Walked Out And Shut My Door Behind Me Before Walking Over To Kevin's And Rang The Doorbell "Demi, I Didn't Think You Where Coming" Kevin Smiled At Me
And Gestured For Me To Come In. "Neither Did I" I Said Walking In. I Could Hear The Romantic Music Playing All Around The House, As The Crowds Of Couples Were Swaying Back And Forth To It. I Guess I Was the Only One Who Turned Up Dateless.
