  • @vientomarsol I just got one and the plastic wheel is pretty soft after 5 screens it was wore out .

  • There's a new tool called ScreenMouse that auto-feeds spline. Only need two hands to hold frame, screen, spline, and tool. You can buy it at professinal window cleaning suppliers (WCR) or at Home Depot. $6.00

  • "installing the new screen in the window" ummmm.....

  • Reusing old spline is plain stupid. BAD advice.

It costs about $3.79 for a bag of 25 FEET. Old spline may not look bad to the eye, but the sun and weather deteriorates it over time and once that happens, goodbye tight screen. Even worse, it is much harder to remove and replace once that happens.

    These guys are amateur hacks.

  • @alstonian78 ahhahhahaah that's exactly what i said on his other video

  • i have crappy aluminum clad windows. not storm windows. forgot my house key. had to cut my screen to get in the window. guess what? I cannot for the life of me get the screen out. it has two pieces of wire at the top of the screen. you can pull on them but nothing happens. i cant get the screen out of the window. i cant get the glass windows out of the window either. some idiots put these in. any advice.
