@SorrowfulLesson I actually understood all that, but it's hard to figure out where the real stuff ends and the fake stuff begins. Also, I absolutely loved Darlene and David together!!!! That's the main reason I choose to ignore the final minutes of the finale. I can deal with all the other stuff, but the thought of Darlene not being with David depresses me. :/ I appreciate you taking the time to explain it! I'm glad you like it! :) I love the show!!!

...and Becky and David DID find out they were going to be parents around the time Darlene and Mark brought their daughter, Harris, home. Most of season nine, with the exception of the birth of Darlene's daughter, was fake. They never won the lottery, and most of the things that happened after that (again, not including when Harris was born) were fake as well. Roseanne spent season nine depressed about Dan's death and writing the novel which would become the show Roseanne. =)

I want to try to explain the finale' for ya, since I loved it. Ok, so this wedding is really Darlene and Mark's wedding. When Dan has his heart attack at the end of this episode, he actually dies- he does NOT recover. Becky and David are really the ones who ran off together and eloped. Jackie was really gay, and had her son artificially. Their mom was NOT gay, just insane and subservient. Leon and his husband were the same as in real life. Darlene and Mark's baby DID almost die....

Was deeply saddened to find out in the finale that actually David and Becky were together and Mark and Darlene were together...

yes he did, Dan actually did die. and they never won the lottery like so much was all part of her story. half this show was all fake but i loved it

I thought that he had died way earlier and this was a story Rosanne had been writing and she was mad about him dying so she changed it in book and had him die later or something like that?
