Hello everyone and welcome back to Clevver Games, your source for gaming news. I'm your host Andrea Rene and earlier today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the next expansion for their MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. Titled, The Riders of Rohan, you'll be able to ride across Middle Earth taking down Orcs as you go.

This expansion marks the first time you'll be able to engage in mounted combat. You'll be able to customize your steed's armor and level its skills over time. You'll need to protect King Theoden's lands against the roving Warbands of warg riders. But you'll have Rohirrim at your side along with Eomer.

Plus you'll get to forge alliances with the Ents of Fangorn Forest. The level cap has also been raised to 85 to give you plenty of room to grow. It is worth mentioning that you'll only have access to the East Plains of Rohan, but that is still lots of space.

The Riders of Rohan expansion is twice the size of the recent Rise of Isengard expansion and includes the most new game systems and technology since 2008's Mines of Moria. Lord of the Rings Online celebrates 5 years with this new expansion and it will launch sometimes this fall.
