Old surf movies I made of Fort Point and Ocean Beach, near San Fransisco, CA with an 8mm camera. First 3 min of Fort Point and Ocean Beach in 1975. At 3:20 film on me and Jeff Chamberlain being arrested by MPs in 1972 when it was illegal to surf there (but uncrowded). We were cited with "trespassing on military property for purposes unlawful."

I love the way guys surfed in those days. Black wetsuits and white boards. I lived down in Santa Cruz and the Westside Crew surfed just like thse guys. I drove to San Francisco from time to time. Linda Mar was usually empty and so was Ocean Beach. So empty it was spooky and you didn't want to go out (you never knew what else might be swimming around out there....)

this was one of the most bad ass films i have seen on you tube. I am a 5th generation san francisco native and a surfer of ocean beach and surrounding ares.
