Michele and Sherman's son was one year old when Sherman discovered the lump in Michele's breast. The discovery and the subsequent treatment, they say, brought the couple and their two young children closer together as a family. About five years after Michele finished treatment, Michele and Sherman had a surprise -- Michele was pregnant with their third child.
