Wow, could these guys play any different? One of the most musical drummers ever and THE most technically gifted drummer ever. They are equally entertaining.

Two completely different approaches to the instrument and to the chart. Neither is better than the other. They both speak musically and with great passion. Buddy moves me emotionally; Max moves me intellectually. They were dear, close friends, and both of them would think this endless debate about who-was-better is pointless.

There are 4 previously unreleased versions of songs on this disc. "sing sing sing" being one. "The casbah" being the 2nd. "bigfoot" the 3rd, and "limehouse blues" the last. Perhaps when I have the time I'll post them all! Thanks for listening.
