My friend Brandon introduced me to Firehose who was introduced by a guy named Fernando who was way into cool music. It led me down one of the best musical paths ever. The Minutemen, Sonic Youth and so on. I loved all of Firehose's records and wore the cassette tapes out. I never saw them live as they had broken up by the time I wanted to see them. But I have seen Mike Watt play many times. I sit in Ohio as I write this. Thank you to Ed, George and Mike for the soundtracks to my life.

for me , when i heard this 1st time was a trip down A1A
melting keys dropping on my toe, i became half man half metal man....went over to the st augustine wax museum....left ..and went & saw the WRONG movie , "natural born killers"

left went to a state park and laid underneath the pine trees swayed by the wind and just watched them move above me for hours
