Part 1 of 9. Broadcasting on the Wonderful World of Disney, it is the grand opening television special of Walt Disney World in 1971. Julie Andrews hosts this celebration of the new Disney destination along with celebrity appearances by Glen Campbell, Bob Hope, Buddy Hackett and Jonathan Winters. This archival footage is a true Disney treasure mostly because of the Disney music in its 1970's style. Some highlights are the musical arrangements of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" (Part 2) and "It's A Small World" (Part 7). Enjoy this Disney classic television event!

@pika23 i say yes, because you can do things how you want to, and im sorry to say this but you can not do everything in one trip unless you are beyond rich and coould afford itbut do what you like do make a time table on what you have to do, i am coming up on my 4 year going i still havent done everything, if you do go do plenty of research and go during the food and wine fest you get more out of EPCOT, message if you would like some secerts i have learned

Disney World would have been much more awesome if they would have stayed true to Walt's origional idea for EPCOT center and built a model city to be a test ground and evolving laboroatory for the great cities of the U.S.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALT DISNEY WORLD AND MAY THE NEXT 40 YEARS BE AS MAGICAL AS THE FIRST and im so there for the 50th anniversary gonna be grand probably less then disneylands cause well it was the first and without it there would not be any of the disney parks today but disney world is still gonna have a grand celebration 10 years from now and yes im gonna miss whatever im doing and going down to the celebration 10 years from now.
